On August 26, 2023, the PMD Foundation organized a Summer Virtual PMD Conference with special guests Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Sana Biotechnology, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Families had an opportunity to share questions and perspectives live in the session.

This was a fantastic opportunity to learn about potential PMD treatments on the horizon directly from the teams working on them. They shared how their treatment can work and we discussed what it means to be part of a clinical trial.

This webinar included presentations from Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Sana Biotechnology, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and concluded with a facilitated Q&A session with PMD families.
