PMD Foundation Treasurer’s Report Highlights Q1 Fundraising

First of all, thank you for your continued generosity towards the PMD Foundation in the first quarter of 2021! The Foundation took in donations of $6,895 for the first three months of 2021. The first part of the year is typically a slower time of the year for donations. 

Please let the Foundation know if you are interested in setting up a fundraiser, and we are happy to help. During January, February and March of 2021, we funded the last $15,000 towards the Natural History Study for a total of $180,000 invested over the past two years! 

The Foundation ended March with cash balances of $207,500 with $100,000 committed for a 2-year research grant. Both the PMD Foundation Scientific Advisory Board and the full PMD Foundation Board of Directors remain committed to exploring all options in terms of putting the remaining money to work in the near term to continue to further our mission as a Foundation.
