Q1 Treasurer's Report: 2024 Off to a Strong Start

A big thank you to the PMD community as we are off to another strong start to the year from a fundraising perspective! 

We raised almost $20,000 in the first quarter of 2024. This follows on a strong 2023 where we raised just under $75,000 in 2023, crossing the finish line with $56K from our Run, Walk, or Roll fundraiser in September and $18K from general fundraising and Giving Tuesday. 

In 2023, we disbursed $100,000 to our previously committed research grants, with $50,000 remaining to be funded in 2024. 

We remain in strong financial health with over $140,000 in additional unrestricted funds. The Board remains committed to finding the best use for these funds to further the mission of the PMD Foundation.
