Team Logan Golf Outing

On June 15, 2019, Logan Parker of Texas, and his family hosted a golf outing at the beautiful Mill Creek Country Club golf course.  The weather was beautiful and 44 golfers came out to support Logan. The event was a fundraiser for the PMD Foundation to further its mission to proactively serve those affected by Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease.  

Along with the 44 golfers, there were many that sponsored the event including Dossman Funeral Home, Dennis and Kathey Farr (Logan’s grandparents), Brad Dragoo of Fairway Mortgage, Smith Family Dairy Queen, Martin Marietta (Logan’s grandfather works here) and several community members for hole sponsors.

Logan loves the event as he goes out on the course and cheers the golfers on. This year he was gifted a set of clubs and was spotted on the course driving one for PMD.  

Logan’s community was able to raise over $8,000 for the foundation this year.  

Team Logan’s next golf outing is scheduled for April 18, 2020 at Mill Creek Country Club in Salado, TX.
